Foul play has been ruled out in the death of a woman found in the Bow River earlier this year, but police are still asking for help in tracking her movements before she died.
Crystal Marie Larocque, 34, was positively identified by the medical examiner on Oct. 1, said police on Friday. She was found in about 15 to 20 centimetres of water near the 2200 block of Canyon Meadows Drive S.E. by a woman walking her dog on May 13.
Authorities had sent several pleas for assistance in identifying the body, including releasing photos of the woman's tattoos, clothing and jewelry.
Anyone with information on Larocque's whereabouts before her death is asked to call Det. Theresa Garagan at the Calgary Police Service District 8 office at 403-567-6800.
